Back to the Prairie

One of my best friends asked if I could take some updated family pictures for her.  Of course I had to  show them my new favorite spot on Earth!  The wildflowers are still blooming...hopefully they will for a while yet.  I just love the way the light filters over the hills and through the trees.  These guys have the most adorable boxers!  It always looks like they are smiling.

Lovely Evening with some Lovely People!

My cousin and I had a photo shoot planned for tonight.  It was looking like rain alllllll day long.  We even contempated rescheduling.  Thankfully we didn't.  Just as they pulled up, the dark clouds rolled off and we had a wonderful evening.  Mr. C, Mrs. S and Miss A were so much fun and so easy going.  I wish all shoots would go this way.  Here is a sneak peak.  My eyes are tired so the rest will be processed tomorrow.  =)

Day in The Life of Max&Meena

I was able to spend some time with my sister creating the fun things she has in her etsy boutique Max & Meena.  I learned her process for creating her unique "Crazy Crayons" and helped package some for an upcoming craft fair.  Check out her site!!  Her creations are cute, trendy and fun!

New Secret Spot!!!

I've been meaning to visit my new favorite location for months now to see if it was worth future visits. Finally got there this week and oh. my. goodness.  BEAUTIFUL!!  I brought the boys, and though we had to fight throngs and throngs of mosquitoes, we had lots of fun.  They weren't the most cooperative subjects, but then again, usually when the camera comes out they run, so I can't complain.  =)

Teaser of Sweet Ms. E...

Oh my gosh!! What a fun night of pictures we had. I was truly honored to be asked to take some family pics for a good friend . The weather was perfect, the light was perfect and the family was perfect!! (well....maybe Ms. E wouldn't agree that everything was perfect). E. went from avoiding the camera, to playing happily, to a few unexpected tears and then huge smiles again once Aunt P. produced a yummy sucker. I still have some finishing touches to do, but here are a couple of my favs....
